Hall of Shame

It was no surprise that yesterday, House Republicans completed their bogus political theatre by voting to hold Attorney General, Eric Holder, in civil and criminal contempt of Congress.  What is despicable is that some Democrats goose-stepped behind the Republicans out of fear of a bad rating by the NRA.  I took names.

Dino

If you own one of these creeps, please give them a call.  Tell them how embarrassed you are that they represent you and how you didn’t elect a Democrat to act like a damn Republican.  Also tell them to grow a pair!

  1. Can't say that I own one, although my size nines are itching for a butt or two to kick.  And as I have oft said, although never here, I'll kick so hard that they will turn inside out!!!!!  Permanently!!!!!

A Care2 member — "Democrats have a habit of "walking out" when things don't go their way."

The House Democrats did not walk out like petulant children that weren't getting their way. They walked out because they did not recognise the legitimacy of the vote, a purely Republican/Teabagger political grandstanding act that had no basis in fact. It was nothing more than a political witch hunt.

Now if you really want to see someone reacting when things don't go his way, look no further than John 'Agent Orange' Boehner who seems to cry a lot.

    Vote Democrat 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

The Black Caucus and Nancy Pelosi, who was originally going to vote against the contempt charges, walked out rather than recognise the legitimacy of the vote.  A principled stand.

Those that caved to the NRA (Non Rational Assholes) know nothing of principles, only self interest..  Would their vote, in terms of numbers have changed the outcome?  No.  But it would have shown that they had integrity and principles other than SELF preservation and SELF interest.

  2. I believe of I can't say anything good – to say nothing ; therefore it is best I not comment on this bunch of cowardly scumbuckets

  3. I agree TomCat they should grow some backbone.  I saw yesterday the ones who walked out and call out the GOP

SHAME ON YOU it was great.  To bad some are just looking for there own pockets.  And not for truth and justice.

  4. I find it hard to believe that our own Peter DeFazio voted for the civil contempt charge. In general, he is an intelligent, thoughtful and principled man, and a stalwart progressive. He will definitely be hearing from Marva and me on this one.

    • What Jack said. I notice that the vote that Pete went with was for civil contempt, but no criminal contempt. I'd like to find out the difference a bit. Maybe Pete can explain himself.

    • I agree all three times! 😉

  7. Oops. No idea why this posted twice. Sorry about that

  8. Please do not sully the name of Dino (one of the best pets in cartoon land) by inferring his good name has anything to do with these gutless wonders .
