There’s a funny adage about bad pennies. That’s that they keep turning up. However, when we’re talking about Rush Limbaugh, the de facto head of the Republican Party, equating him to a penny presumes that he’s worth far more than he is. Because our boycott of his advertisers have hurt him and his brand, he has unveiled a new tactic: paying women to objectify themselves and for attacking other women.
Rush Limbaugh has launched a new Facebook group called ‘Rush Babes for America’ [fascist pig delinked] in an effort to fight back against the National Organization for Women’s campaign to have his talk radio show removed from the airwaves.
Limbaugh referred to Georgetown law student, Sandra Fluke, as a ‘slut’ and a ‘prostitute’ and afterwards there was a huge public outcry from the left for advertisers to pull their funding. The comments by Limbaugh were made after Fluke’s testimony in Washington that birth control should be covered by health insurance companies. He later apologized in a statement on his website. [Fascist pig delinked]
Limbaugh had this to say about the ‘Babes’ Facebook launch during his program earlier this week:
"Sometime later this month the Femi-Nazis are going to be working with Media Matters for America in kicking off some giant program, some coordinated plan to have me taken off the air, under the premise that women hate this program and that this program is an unfriendly environment for women, that this program laughs at, impugns, makes fun of women. Of course, the flaw in this is that the National Organization for Women thinking that they speak for women. If there was ever a group that speaks for an almost infinitesimal minority of women, it’s them."
‘Rush Babes for America’ also dubbed the ‘National Organization for Rush Babes’ is being dedicated to the millions of conservative women who, according to the Facebook About page, "know what they believe in."…,

Our best course of action is to but boycot6ting this misogynist misanthrope back in the front burner. Visit StopRush.net for an update of his sponsors. Call the ones in your area and tell them that you will not give them your patronage because of their support of Limbaugh. If they are companies with whom you have done business, make sure they know it.
There is an appropriate place for Limbaugh’s gold mic, but it is NOT in front of his garbage-spewing mouth!

I can’t understand how ANY woman could stand to listen to Ru$h – but then I think of Palin & Bachmann, and Coulter (the pseudo-woman perfect for the pseudo-man!;)..it makes me sad to think there ARE such “babes” in the wood…:(
