Yesterday I had some rest, and although I still feel tired, I was able to dive into catching-up today.  I’m current with replies.  Tomorrow I have prep work for Tuesday’s volunteer work in prison.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today it tool me 4:10 (average 4:55).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From Washington Post: On the second anniversary of President Barack Obama’s signing of the health-care law, Mitt Romney set out to achieve two goals: renew his vow to repeal it and diminish assertions that his Massachusetts law was a model for it.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!  Multiple Mitt!

From MoveOn: EXPOSED: The Billionaire Koch Brothers Who Are Buying American Democracy

It looks like that movie will be worth watching. They want $20.

From USA Today: Gerald Rivera has added to the outrage over Trayvon Martin’s death. He’s blaming the hoodie.

"I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly not to let their children go out wearing hoodies. I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as much as George Zimmerman was," the Fox News host said Friday on Fox and Friends. [emphasis added]

Today’s cartoon is my comment.

  1. 4:22 ~ Not good enough today.

Pres. Obama’s campaign committee must be salivating over RomneyCare.

Looks like an excellent expose about the Kochs.

    Geraldo is the hood IMHO.

  2. 3:54  Just beat one minute.

  3. Mr Flip-Flop et al — The Republican/Teabaggers are such lame assed idiots!  Everytime they open their mouths about healthcare, another person dies from lack of coverage!  Based on the costs of US healthcare, the only ones who will be able to afford healthcare are the 1%.  To me this isn’t about big government versus small government, this is about protecting the people.  If this were big vs small government, then Sanctimonious Santorum would be gone because his war on women is most definitely an overreach of government into women’s healthcare.  And Mr Flip-Flop is flip-flopping like a fish on dry land because he got caught by his party with his pants down.

Koch Brothers, The Movie — May be well worth watching.  If it is as good as it appears, it should be mandatory watching for civics classes in highschool.  Were I a teacher, I would be having students watch it in Canada as a way of understanding what can happen and does happen when you take your rights for granted.

A question for Geraldo — So when did a $29.99 hoodie grow hands to hold a gun and a brain to fire it?  I’m 60 and wear hoodies.  So does that make me a dangerous person?  Geraldo has fallen a long way from his so-so news career to land at Faux Noise!  Good comment TC.  Bury Zimmerman in the darkest, deepest cell for the rest of his life.
