{"id":9688,"date":"2012-12-05T07:46:09","date_gmt":"2012-12-05T15:46:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=9688"},"modified":"2012-12-05T07:46:09","modified_gmt":"2012-12-05T15:46:09","slug":"good-news-to-celebrate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2012\/12\/05\/good-news-to-celebrate\/","title":{"rendered":"Good News to Celebrate!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Long before she gained prominence, as a progressive super star, I was a big fan of Elizabeth Warren and was bringing you reports on and video clips of her opposition to Banksters\u2019 illegal and unethical practices.&#160; As a result the TBTF banks, which should still be broken up, have been moving heaven and earth trying to keep her off the Senate Banking Committee.&#160; Apparently, they have failed!<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; float: left\" title=\"5Warren-McConnell\" alt=\"5Warren-McConnell\" align=\"left\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/5Warren-McConnell.jpg\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" \/>Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2012\/12\/warren-senate-banking-committee-84561.html\" target=\"_blank\">reportedly<\/a> been selected by Democratic leadership to serve on the Senate Banking Committee, despite massive opposition mounted by banking lobbyists and Republicans against appointing the former Harvard law professor, bankruptcy law expert and architect of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.<\/p>\n<p>Warren, who bested Rep. Sen.
