That\u2019s the percentage of Americans who support higher taxes on higher incomes, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/the-fix\/wp\/2012\/11\/28\/taxing-the-rich-remains-popular\/?wprss=rss_politics\" target=\"_blank\">new Post-ABC poll<\/a>. Seventy-three percent of Democrats and 63 percent of independents support an increase, whereas 59 percent of Republicans oppose increasing taxes on the well-off.<\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Republicans are completely out of step with America, as usual.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/story\/2012\/11\/28\/1150658\/-White-House-President-Obama-supports-filibuster-reform\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Kos<\/a>: <\/font>He doesn&#8217;t have a vote in the Senate anymore, but he has a critical interest in how the legislative process works. Or in the case of recent years, doesn&#8217;t.
