Yesterday I posted an article on the antics of McConJob and Lindsey Poo<\/a>.  This is a follow up to that article.  Even before McCain attacked Susan Rice, he has been accusing the Obama administration of a cover-up and complaining that his Senate Homeland Security Committee had not been given any information on what happened surrounding the Benghazi attack.  Yesterday the representatives from several departments briefed that committee extensively on Benghazi, as scheduled well in advance.  Guess where McConJob was during that briefing?<\/font><\/p>\n

\"16McConJob\"This week, a number of Republican senators have strongly criticized the administration for failing to properly explain the circumstances surrounding the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi. Some of those senators failed to show up for a briefing on the attack Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has been the leading congressional critic of the administration’s handling of the Benghazi attack and what he sees as the administration’s lack of candor with Congress on the matter. On Wednesday, he pledged to block<\/a> the potential nomination of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton due to Rice’s statements on the attack. That drew a sharp rebuke<\/a> from President Barack Obama at Wednesday’s press conference. <\/p>\n

But although McCain had time to speak on the Senate floor and on television about the lack of information provided to Congress about the attack, he didn’t attend the classified briefing for senators Wednesday given to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee<\/strong>, of which he is a member.<\/a><\/p>\n

Committee ranking Republican Susan Collins (R-ME) called out McCain for skipping the briefing and said his call for a special committee to investigate the Benghazi attack was not necessary because the Homeland Security committee could handle it<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Note his calm demeanor when questioned about his whereabouts.  McConJob has to know that what he is doing is wrong, but doesn\u2019t care. He cares only to attack Obama.  If he really cared about want happened, he would have attended the hearing.  Is he bitter over losing, or has dementia set in?<\/font><\/p>\n
