In yesterday\u2019s debate editorial, I listed many of Romney\u2019s lies.  Unfortunately, Lord Willard can lie fasted than I can write them down, let alone debunk them.  Here is part of an article by Alex Kane that list ten of Willard\u2019s most outrageous lies.  Then we\u2019ll cover Obama\u2019s way forward.<\/font><\/p>\n

\"romney-pinocchio\"The verdict is in: Mitt Romney handily won last night\u2019s debate, and did what he needed to do to have a fighting chance at winning the election. But what he didn\u2019t do, predictably, was tell the truth.<\/p>\n

Romney\u2019s debate performance was chock full of lies, recalling his running mate\u2019s address to the GOP convention, which was also chock full of lies. Hopefully, just as Ryan\u2019s address was dissected and debunked by some media outlets, Romney\u2019s claims are as well, so the debate can move to substantive issues instead of stylistic ones.<\/p>\n

Here are ten of Romney\u2019s fact-challenged claims from last night:<\/p>\n

1. An \u2018Unelected Board\u2019 Controlling Your Health Care\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

2. A Bipartisan Record…<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Dodd-Frank Labels Banks as \u2018Too Big to Fail\u2019\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Obamacare Leads to Loss of Healthcare\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

5. The Failure of the Obama Economy\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

6. Obamacare Cuts Billions From Medicare\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

7. Gas Prices Increase\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

8. Health Care Costs Rising Under Obama\u2026<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

9. Oil and Gas Production Increases Only on Private Land…<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Frankly, I think that Romney caught Obama off guard, because Romney reinvented himself, falsifying his positions so completely, that he appeared to have nothing in common with the Romney Obama had prepared to debate,<\/font><\/p>\n

Lord Willard may talk about ‘trickle down government’ but he and the Republican Party offer only tinkle down government<\/strong>. I agree that Obama needs to call Romney out, and on the campaign trail, he did so quite well yesterday, but he needs to confront him face to face.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
