Mitt Romney thought Barack Obama had given him a similar opening, when Obama has an open mic moment of his own, stating that he would have more flexibility for weapons reduction negotiation after being reelected.&#160; However, Obama said nothing he could not have said openly.&#160; Whether Obama wins in November or not, the Republican imperative to defeat Obama\u2019s reelection will be over.&#160; But before that time, Obama knows that they will block everything he does, and his statement merely reflected that reality.&#160; Then Romney committed his own gaffe, that makes McConJob\u2019s faux pas seem tame.<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: left; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"28nuke\" border=\"0\" alt=\"28nuke\" align=\"left\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/28nuke.jpg\" width=\"360\" height=\"276\" \/>Republican presidential candidate <strong>Mitt Romney called Russia &quot;without question our number one geopolitical foe&quot;<\/strong> Monday on CNN.<\/p>\n<p>Romney&#8217;s comments came in the context of President Barack Obama&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/03\/26\/nuclear-summit-barack-obama-medvedev_n_1379422.html\" target=\"_blank\">&quot;hot mic&quot; moment<\/a> with Russian President Dimitri Medvedev Monday after a meeting in Seoul. Obama was heard telling Medvedev he would have &quot;more flexibility&quot; on missile defense after the presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;This is without question our number one geopolitical foe, they fight for every cause for the world&#8217;s worst actors.
