During the 2008 campaign, John McCain, aka McConJob, committed one of the campaign’s worst gaffes by singing \u201cBomb Bomb Iran\u201d into an open mic. Mitt Romney thought Barack Obama had given him a similar opening, when Obama has an open mic moment of his own, stating that he would have more flexibility for weapons reduction negotiation after being reelected.  However, Obama said nothing he could not have said openly.  Whether Obama wins in November or not, the Republican imperative to defeat Obama\u2019s reelection will be over.  But before that time, Obama knows that they will block everything he does, and his statement merely reflected that reality.  Then Romney committed his own gaffe, that makes McConJob\u2019s faux pas seem tame.<\/font><\/p>\n

\"28nuke\"Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney called Russia "without question our number one geopolitical foe"<\/strong> Monday on CNN.<\/p>\n

Romney’s comments came in the context of President Barack Obama’s "hot mic" moment<\/a> with Russian President Dimitri Medvedev Monday after a meeting in Seoul. Obama was heard telling Medvedev he would have "more flexibility" on missile defense after the presidential election.<\/p>\n

"This is without question our number one geopolitical foe, they fight for every cause for the world’s worst actors. The idea that he has more flexibility in mind for Russia is very, very troubling indeed," Romney said\u2026 [emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
