Yesterday I kept up to date with comments and returned all visits, except one.  Today is my volunteer day helping with a therapy group for former prisoners.  I\u2019ll be behind until Friday.<\/font><\/p>\n

A consumer group filed a lawsuit<\/a> Monday against Anthem Blue Cross, accusing the insurer of raising rates to force members into policies with higher deductibles and lower benefits.Consumer Watchdog accuses Anthem of violating state law by failing to offer policyholders comparable coverage and minimize rate hikes after the company directs customers to alternative plans when closing out existing plans.<\/font><\/p>\n

The Senate whip count<\/a> on passing the public option by reconciliation is now 33. <\/font>Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO), Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) <\/font>signed on.<\/font><\/p>\n
