Next, Democrats in the Senate will try to put Americans to work on America\u2019s decaying infrastructure.&#160; Now it time for me to demonstrate my brilliance and command of rocket science.&#160; I predict that Republicans will filibuster and block that too.<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/25infrastructure.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: left; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"25infrastructure\" border=\"0\" alt=\"25infrastructure\" align=\"left\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/25infrastructure_thumb.jpg\" width=\"360\" height=\"239\" \/><\/a>Next up for the Democratic Senate on President Obama&#8217;s jobs agenda: roads, rails and airports<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., announced today that next week the chamber &quot;will likely&quot; take up the infrastructure part of Obama&#8217;s $447 billion American Jobs Act, as it seeks to force Republican votes on every aspect of the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Senate Republicans &#8212; and two Democrats &#8212; voted to block a part of the Obama jobs plan to help local governments pay for teachers, police officers, and firefighters.<\/p>\n<p>The week before, Republicans &#8212; and two Democrats &#8212; voted against consideration of the entire $447 billion jobs proposal, saying the plan costs too much and would do little to reduce the 9.1% jobs rate.<\/p>\n<p>Obama said he decided to break up the bill &quot;into smaller pieces so that we don&#8217;t confuse anybody, and <strong>let them vote on each piece one at a time<\/strong>.&quot;\u2026 [<em>emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Inserted from &lt;<a href=\"http:\/\/content.usatoday.com\/communities\/theoval\/post\/2011\/10\/senate-dems-push-obama-infrastructure-plan\/1\" target=\"_blank\">USA Today<\/a>&gt;<\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">To be honest that prediction did not require genius, after all.&#160; The Republican Party do not care about jobs for Americans.&#160; They care about two thing&#8217;s only.<\/font><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><font color=\"#0000ff\"><strong>Transferring wealth from the 99% to the 1%.<\/strong><\/font> <\/li>\n<li><font color=\"#0000ff\"><strong>Establishing a permanent one-party Republican regime.<\/strong><\/font> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Every Republican in office is one Republican too many!<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First Republicans filibustered and blocked the AJA.&#160;
