Yesterday was a pretty quiet day. I’m still fussing with yarn, which is not as boring to me s it is for y’all hearing about it – but it’s not terribly exciting either – which is probably a good thing.<\/p>\n
There is a difference – a big one – between “revenge” or “getting even” on the one hand and “accountability” on the other. I don’t know why our party leadership<\/a> finds it so difficult to see that.<\/p>\n MAGA as a political movement may die<\/a>. But the fear of “the other,” from which racism, religious bigotry, and even sexism all derive, – that may never die. Certainly it won’t die as long as there are people willing to exploit it for personal gain.<\/p>\n When John Pavlovitz<\/a> and The Lever<\/a> have exactly the same reaction, I think that’s noteworthy. John’s letter is an open letter – there’s nothing for you to sign and send. There are numerous ways to share it with about two clicks, though.
