Yesterday, the Smithsonian informed me that there are 2 baby pygmy lorises<\/a> (endangered) at the Zoo. This is part of a breeding program designed to help the species recover. You need to scroll down a bit to get to the article, but it’s there. And at the bottom of the page, 5 photos are available for download. They are adorable, but I wouldn’t want to cuddle one – slow lorises produce venom (the only mammals known to do so.)<\/p>\n
