For the last couple of days, I\u2019ve been quite ill with a stomach flu: Republicitis of the gut.  The hast time I was this nauseous was watching toe 2008 Republican debate.  This will be today\u2019s only article, because I have barely slept in two days.  I am not up to date on comments, but I thank you for wishing me well.  It may take a few days to get back up to speed, because I have to go to the denturist tomorrow to get my new lower partial fixed, and Thursday I volunteer at the penitentiary.<\/font><\/p>\n

From Time<\/a>: <\/font>Ross dashed after Bachmann, repeatedly asking whether she had ever missed a House vote due to a migraine. She ignored him. Ross pursued her into a parking area behind the stage. Her aides grew alarmed. When Ross made a beeline for the white SUV waiting to carry Bachmann away, two Bachmann men pounced on him, grabbing and pushing him multiple times with what looked to me like unusual force. In fact, I have never seen a reporter treated so roughly at a campaign event, especially not a presidential one. Ross was finally able to break away and lob his question at Bachmann one more time, but she continued to ignore him.<\/p>\n

Afterward, I asked Ross \u2014 a hard-nosed pro who nevertheless seemed slightly shaken \u2014 whether he had ever been treated so roughly. \u201cA few times,\u201d he told me. \u201cMostly by Mafia people.\u201d<\/p>\n

I would not be surprised if the new Republican policy will be to have goons attack the press, except for the Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda, aka Faux Noise<\/em>.  And speaking of Batsh*t B, here\u2019s a hilarious impersonation.<\/font><\/p>\n
