It\u2019s a decision to shift our efforts from shoring up a body on the verge of the end to providing solace to a soul that\u2019s on the cusp of forever.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>On Grocery Store Plastic Bags:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cBecause they\u2019re so light, they defy proper waste management, floating off trash cans and sanitation trucks like they\u2019re being raptured by a garbage god.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>On Our Worship of Size (\u2026 Does It Really Matter?):<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c\u2026 people have always liked really big stuff, particularly of the unnecessary variety. Stonehenge, pyramids, colossi, Costco.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>[Editor\u2019s Note: But I\u00a0<u>LOVE<\/u>\u00a0Costco!]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>On DeSantis\u2019 TOTAL LACK of Compassion, Caring &amp; Charisma:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>DeSantis gives off the vibe \u201cthat he might unplug your life support to recharge his cellphone.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>And Bruni&#8217;s Final Selection &#8211; An Existential Note:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cToo many voters today are easily conned, deeply biased, impervious to fact and bereft of survival instincts. Contrary to myth, frogs leap out of heating pots. Stampeding cattle stop at a cliff edge.
