I did not pay attention to the Casey Anthony trial.\u00a0 I saw a rant from Nancy Grace a long while back, which I discounted, because she was fighting for a conviction before a jury had even been selected, as she always does.\u00a0 I have no opinion on the jury\u2019s verdict, except that the jury rendered a verdict and that settles the issue.\u00a0 I\u2019m not seeking opinions about the verdict.\u00a0 This article is about Nancy Grace and others, whose behavior demonstrates that they have no respect for the Constitutional presumption of innocence, and use their media access to try to sabotage it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"6Grace\"<\/a>Nancy Grace’s reaction to the not guilty verdict in the Casey Anthony trial is one for the ages of cable TV.<\/p>\n

You could not invent a character like Grace. You might think Grace would be somewhat more even-handed after the woman she characterized as a murderer was declared not guilty.<\/p>\n

But not Grace. Take a look at this video. <\/p>\n

After priming the emotional pump with a description of members of the defense team sitting in a bar drinking a champagne toast, Grace says, “You know what? I’m not a preacher. And I’m not a rabbi. But something is wrong with that, because Caylee is dead. … Somewhere out there tonight, the devil is dancing<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

I look at Grace on this video, and I have no problem understanding why so many hate the media so much\u2026 [emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Frankly, Grace\u2019s disrespect for the rule of law disgusts me.\u00a0 In the world of criminal justice she is no different than Glenn Beck in the world of politics.\u00a0 And she is not alone.\u00a0 The Dingbat Duo weighed in too.<\/span><\/p>\n
