Yesterday my groceries came a little after 10 AM and I had them unpacked and put away a little before 2 PM.  That wore me out.  I didn\u2019t sleep well again.  At present, Oregon humidity is way up, and I just feel sticky.  I am current on replies.  Today, I go to my denturist for the final impressions, and I should have my teeth within two weeks.<\/font><\/p>\n

From Columbia Tribune<\/a>: <\/font>In a unanimous ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that conflict-of-interest laws for legislators at both the state and local levels do not deprive legislators of their First Amendment rights.<\/p>\n

The decision overturns a ruling from a Nevada high court regarding a state law that requires legislators to recuse themselves from voting on issues in which they could be \u201cmaterially affected\u201d by the outcome. The case began when Michael Carrigan, a city councilman from Sparks City, Nev., took a vote on a bill that would authorize the development of a new casino in his ward. Nevada\u2019s ethics authority found that Carrigan\u2019s vote constituted a conflict of interest, and he filed a lawsuit against the entity, saying that it had tread on his First Amendment rights.<\/p>\n

How ironic!  While this is the correct decision, they continue to ignore that Teabag Thomas has conflicts of interest on a wide range of issues.<\/font><\/p>\n
