From LA Times<\/a>: <\/font>Austan Goolsbee is stepping down as chairman of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisors, the White House announced Monday night, shaking up the economic team just as the recovery is sputtering.<\/p>\n

Goolsbee, one of the administration’s primary spokesmen on the economy, will return to his position as an economics professor at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, the announcement said.<\/p>\n

From Common Dreams<\/a>: <\/font>Joe Harris, the Emergency Manager in Benton Harbor, has issued an order informing all city officials and employees that they are not to attend city commission meetings without his written permission.<\/p>\n

WJSM<\/a> reports that the one exception to this rule is for the city clerk who is to take the minutes of the city commission meetings.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the order from Harris goes on to state that the city clerk must attach language to the minutes of all Benton Harbor Commission meetings stating that any resolution passed by the body has no legal effect.<\/p>\n

This is the poor town where the Snyder Reich want to steal the people\u2019s lakefront park to build a golf course for the rich folks in a neighboring town.<\/font><\/p>\n

From Right Wing Watch<\/a>: <\/font>The American Family Association\u2019s Ed Vitagliano and Buster Wilson dedicated their radio show AFA Report to discuss their outrage that President Obama issued a proclamation declaring June LGBT Pride Month. Vitagliano, the editor of AFA Journal, lamented the deleterious consequences of the President\u2019s proclamation. <\/p>\n

I guess I\u2019m still straight, even though I forgot how, but I\u2019m proud to celebrate the month in support of my LGBT friends and neighbors.<\/font><\/p>\n
