Would you trust this ChickenHawk with the authority to go to war anytime, anywhere, stripping Congress of the power to defund it?  That\u2019s the scam Republicans, with help from a few DINOs are trying to pull off.  Frankly, I would not want Obama to have that power, and I\u2019m a Democrat.  I\u2019d trust a Republican far less, because Republicans love to use war to redistribute wealth.  Yesterday I received this petition from the ACLU.  I encourage you to sign it too.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

A few top congressional insiders are aiming to sneak new worldwide war authority in to a "must pass" piece of legislation: the Defense Authorization bill.<\/p>\n

This new war authority would give the president \u2014 any president \u2014 the power to unilaterally take our country to war wherever, whenever and however he or she sees fit. It would essentially declare a worldwide war without end.<\/p>\n

It is shocking that Congress is entertaining such legislation at a time when many are looking to see an end to escalating conflict and abuses of power in the name of fighting terrorism.<\/p>\n
