The bill, which contains <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/budget-battle-came-down-to-3-men-and-their-weaknesses\/2011\/04\/09\/AFLotbAD_story.html\" target=\"_blank\">roughly $38 billion in cuts<\/a>, means slashes in spending for a number of government departments and agencies\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;The House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) has released <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-srv\/politics\/documents\/CR2011summary-document-cloud-new-skin.html\" target=\"_blank\">a summary of the continuing resolution<\/a> that would keep the budget funded through September 2011, as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-srv\/politics\/documents\/CR2011cuts-document-cloud-new-skin.html\" target=\"_blank\">a list of the key cuts that would be implemented<\/a>.
