Today I’m going to go with the low-hanging fruit \u2013 especially since there’s such an abundant crop to pick!\u00a0 Most will slant humorous, but a few have a serious message.<\/p>\n

We all got a chuckle when Ted Cruz was pilloried for his flight to Canc\u00fan during the winter storm that ravaged Texas.\u00a0 Ted had to slink back home with his tail tucked between his legs \u2013 but sporting a brand new hairdo!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Gov. Abbott rightfully earned FOUR Pinocchios<\/u><\/strong><\/a> for his mendacious claim that frozen wind turbines were the cause of Texas’ travails.<\/p>\n

On a serious note, the question we face as a nation is this:\u00a0 Can a country survive if it bases its decisions on lies?<\/p>\n

Of course, we all realize that there is more than one side to any issue.\u00a0 But republicans never seem to find a side that has even a kernel of truth to it.<\/p>\n

I mean, doesn’t it seem odd how wind turbines “froze” in Texas \u2013 but did just fine in frigid Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Norway?<\/p>\n

Texas Republicans:<\/em> “I’ll vote for Democrats when hell freezes over”\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Mother Nature:<\/em> “Deal!”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
