Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) (former Auburn U. head football coach) proves republicans didn&#8217;t listened to <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2018\/02\/bobby-stop-being-the-stupid-party-jindal-is-now-pro-stupid.html\">Bobby Jindal<\/a> back in 2013 when he told the RNC to <em>&#8220;stop being the stupid party\u201d<\/em> and become a <em>&#8220;party that talks like adults.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Senate now has their own version of <strong><em>Louie Gohmert<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 When asked by CNN reporter about his thoughts concerning QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/senate\/537128-tuberville-declines-comment-on-marjorie-taylor-greene-says-weather-has-made\">Sen. Tommy replied<\/a>: &#8220;I haven&#8217;t looked at what all she&#8217;s done.\u00a0 I&#8217;d have to hold back a statement on that\u2026. \u00a0This weather&#8217;s been a little rough.\u00a0 [Didn&#8217;t] look at any news or whatever.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The weather prevented him from watching or reading any news?!?\u00a0 <em>*sigh*<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Obviously he&#8217;s too dumb to be taught to simply say <em>&#8220;No Comment&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Probably shouldn&#8217;t be a surprise that the weather prevented Sen. Tommy from keeping up with the news.\u00a0 He also would fail our Naturalization Test because he doesn&#8217;t even know what the three branches of government are:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/letters-to-the-editor\/ensure-members-of-congress-know-government\/2020\/12\/27\/1257c1f2-4532-11eb-ac2a-3ac0f2b8ceeb_story.html\">\u201cOur government wasn\u2019t set up for one group to have all three branches of government \u2014 wasn\u2019t set up that way. \u00a0You know, the House, the Senate, and the executive.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well, at least he got one out of three correct.\u00a0 I suppose 33% is a pretty average score for a republican.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Point of Interest:<\/strong><\/em> Question No. 16 in the civics section of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services\u2019\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/citizenship-resource-center\/the-2020-version-of-the-civics-test\/128-civics-questions-and-answers-with-mp3-audio-2020-version\">Naturalization Test<\/a>\u00a0asks would-be citizens to \u201cname the three branches of government.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Looks like we&#8217;ll have to deport Sen. Tommy.<\/p>\n<p>(As we all know, the three branches of the federal government, as laid out in the Constitution, are the legislative, including both the House and Senate; the executive, or presidency; and judicial, which includes the Supreme Court.)<\/p>\n<p>And if you want visual proof Sen. Put another way, it took him 27 months to reach 10,000 claims and an additional 14 months to reach 20,000.
