{"id":4235,"date":"2011-03-07T04:47:50","date_gmt":"2011-03-07T12:47:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=4235"},"modified":"2011-03-07T04:47:50","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T12:47:50","slug":"fox-obama-the-antichrist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2011\/03\/07\/fox-obama-the-antichrist\/","title":{"rendered":"Fox: Obama the Antichrist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Fox, aka the Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda, has a unique ability to focus on the absurd as an excuse for avoiding important stories, about which they prefer Republican sheeple not think.&#160; In that spirit, they invited the lawyer for Westboro Baptist to comment on the SCOTUS decision allowing their Republican hate speech.&#160; No representative of anything more sane than this right-wing extremism was invited.<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto\" title=\"FoxFandB\" alt=\"FoxFandB\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/FoxFandB.jpg\" width=\"316\" height=\"320\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, the Supreme Court held that even the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/10pdf\/09-751.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">most repulsive hate speech<\/a> \u2014 Westboro Baptist Church\u2019s anti-gay rallies at military funerals \u2014 is entitled to First Amendment protection. At the top of its show this morning, <strong>Fox invited one of the leading purveyors of such repulsive speech, Westboro\u2019s attorney Margie Phelps, as its sole commentator on this Court decision<\/strong>.
