Lo&#039;s FULL Pepsi Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show\" width=\"695\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pILCn6VO_RU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And TC provided a great <em>Highlights Ree<\/em>l of the game that you can enjoy:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"49ers vs. Chiefs | Super Bowl LIV Game Highlights\" width=\"695\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UVV80kTudSM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But sadly, it did not include my favorite play.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Super Bowl has no <em>&#8220;Tomorrows&#8221;<\/em>, teams tend to pull out all the stops. And one pulled out by the Chiefs featured some of the best dance moves we&#8217;ve seen \u2013 comparable to the Temptations or Four Tops \u2026 or if you&#8217;re young enough, your favorite Boy Band.<\/p>\n<p>After lining up in normal formation, QB Mahomes and the rest of his backfield executed a dazzling synchronized 360-degree spin to realign themselves causing confusion for the 49ers. And then, rather than the snap going to Mahomes, it went to Damien Williams who power-plowed for a 4-yard gain \u2013 and a first down. And there&#8217;s a very interesting backstory to this play.<br \/>\nThe play came during a fourth-and-one on the 49ers&#8217; 5-yard line. But its inspiration was from 71 years previous: In the Michigan-USC 1948 Rose Bowl game. We went back through and pulled that out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Then Coach Reid teased us with a little sneak preview: &#8220;We actually have a whole package of it, so you&#8217;ll have to wait until next year to see the rest. (AP Photo\/Charlie Riedel) ORG XMIT: MOCR109<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Unfortunately, Kansas City was subjected to a bit of unscheduled excitement about 4 hours before the parade started when someone breached the parade barricades shortly after 8:00 AM, and decided to beat the crowds with a tour of the parade route himself. That was over 100 dogs!<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The perfect way to cap off this great season \u203c\ufe0f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/k9KSt05gtt\">https:\/\/t.co\/k9KSt05gtt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Derrick Nnadi \ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddec (@DerrickNnadi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DerrickNnadi\/status\/1224342706526310400?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 3, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>He has been working with the KC Pet Project all year, paying the adoption fee of a particularly difficult dog to place after every KC Chiefs victory \u2013 so that would be 15 times prior to the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n<p>And he hasn&#8217;t limited his charitable work to just finding <em>Forever Homes<\/em> for dogs \u2013 he&#8217;s also been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/2020\/02\/04\/chiefs-player-celebrates-super-bowl-win-by-paying-dogs-adoption-fees\/#comments-wrapper\">helping people and kids in KCMO as well as the community where he grew up<\/a>, in Virginia Beach, VA.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>According to the NFL Players Association, which named Nnadi its first <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nflpa.com\/news\/kansas-city-s-derrick-nnadi-named-week-0-nflpa-community-mvp\"><em>Community MVP<\/em><\/a><em> this season for his philanthropy work, he gave 10 kids at the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia backpacks filled with school supplies and a note offering them his best wishes for the upcoming academic year. He also surprised 10 children from the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City with a back-to-school shopping spree at Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In addition, Nnadi paid for a similar shopping excursion for a family of three children who lost their mother in a <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/public-safety\/police-respond-to-shooting-at-virginia-beach-municipal-complex\/2019\/05\/31\/49dca07a-83e6-11e9-933d-7501070ee669_story.html?tid=lk_inline_manual_21\"><em>mass shooting in Virginia Beach<\/em><\/a><em> in May.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I&#8217;ve never been a champion before, all the years of me playing football. But that first time [Sunday] honestly feels like the best day of my life,&#8221; Nnadi said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Trust me, Mr. Nnadi \u2013 you are a True Champion! And the shelter reports that the adoption rate has doubled since Super Bowl Sunday.
