It\u2019s a hectic day, here in the CatBox.  I still haven\u2019t recovered from Monday\u2019s ordeal.  Last night, I accidently heard part of Trump\u2019s* address, almost lost my supper, and felt nauseous for the rest of the evening.  This morning, I broke through three days of Republicitis.  I\u2019m hoping Republicosis  does not follow it, as it often does.  WWWendy is coming this evening, and I\u2019m totally ready for de-stinking.  Happy Hump Day!<\/font><\/p>\n

From Daily Kos<\/a>: The Rotating (Regional) Primary Plan<\/font><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

Recommended by the National Association of Secretaries of State in 2000, this plan would divide the country into four regions\u2014Northeast, South, Midwest, and West. There would be four primary days, one for each region. They would rotate every cycle. The original plan preserved the Iowa\/New Hampshire duopoly, but just ditch it and rotate. Would work fine. Perhaps my favorite. <\/p>\n

From The New Yorker<\/a>: Calling the delay in the release of the Iowa caucus results \u201ca threat to democracy,\u201d the state of Florida has offered to help Iowa with the vote-counting process.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Harland Dorrinson, a spokesman for Florida\u2019s official electoral commission, said on Tuesday morning that \u201cFlorida stands ready and willing to restore credibility to Iowa\u2019s vote-tabulation procedures.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dorrinson added that Katherine Harris, Florida\u2019s former secretary of state, was eager to \u201croll up her sleeves and clean up Iowa\u2019s mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust say the word, Iowa, and Katherine Harris will be on the next plane out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
