Jumping off<\/font> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2009\/12\/13\/AR2009121302448.html\" target=\"_blank\">from an op-ed<\/a> <font color=\"#000000\">by Washington Post editorial board member Charles Lane, Fox yesterday ran a handful of segments on the same basic premise \u2014 cutting the minimum wage may be the answer to the jobs dilemma. Watch a compilation:<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\">&#160;<object width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/-NISx3g-MGQ&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x006699&amp;color2=0x54abd6\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/-NISx3g-MGQ&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x006699&amp;color2=0x54abd6\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><\/embed><\/object><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\">Fox\u2019s anchors seemed very pleased to have stumbled onto this line of thought. Of course, none of the anchors mention that almost<\/font> <a href=\"http:\/\/press.princeton.edu\/titles\/5632.html\" target=\"_blank\">all of<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/~vlrs\/doc\/min_wage.htm\" target=\"_blank\">the economic<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ingentaconnect.com\/content\/bpl\/bjir\/2009\/00000047\/00000002\/art00011\" target=\"_blank\">research<\/a> <font color=\"#000000\">on the subject shows that the minimum wage has<\/font> <a href=\"http:\/\/epi.3cdn.net\/9f5a60cec02393cbe4_a4m6b5t1v.pdf\">little to no effect<\/a> <font color=\"#000000\">[pdf] on employment.
