From The New Yorker<\/a>: <\/font>In an interview with NBC\u2019s Lester Holt, Donald Trump boasted that, if he is impeached, the television ratings will be higher than those of any other impeachment in history.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverywhere I go, people tell me that if I am impeached, they\u2019re going to watch it,\u201d he said. \u201cThe ratings are going to be through the roof.\u201d <\/p>\n

He said that he expected his impeachment ratings to be \u201cmany, many times\u201d the size of the audience for Bill Clinton\u2019s impeachment, in 1998. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not even going to be close,\u201d Trump said. \u201cThe ratings for Bill Clinton\u2019s impeachment were a joke.\u201d <\/p>\n
