First, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2019\/09\/24\/seven-freshman-democrats-these-allegations-are-threat-all-we-have-sworn-protect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seven new members of the House<\/a>, all with national-security backgrounds, published an op-ed Monday demanding that the administration hand over a whistle-blower complaint that reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2019-09-23\/trump-says-he-didn-t-link-ukraine-aid-to-investigation-of-bidens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alleges misconduct<\/a> by President Donald Trump \u2013 and saying that impeachment would be the proper response if the reports about the complaint are true. Then <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rosadelauro\/status\/1176284655944970241\">two<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepDebDingell\/status\/1176320854457823232\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">allies<\/a> of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said much the same.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Impeachment still isn\u2019t certain. The immediate flash point is a Thursday deadline the House has set for the whistle-blower complaint to be delivered. If the administration complies, it\u2019s possible that the added details in the complaint could defuse the situation somewhat (although <strong>what Trump has already admitted to should be sufficient for an impeachment<\/strong>). Elaine Luria&#8217;s recommendation is most credible.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GmsOwWe44Ps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pelosi Reconsiders Impeachment Resistance, Talks Next Steps With Nadler<\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/GmsOwWe44Ps\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">I&#8217;m most pleased and surprised to see Pelosi actually considering impeachment, instead of protecting her own political turf by putting the Party before the nation.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">I&#8217;ve changed my mind too.&nbsp; I think Articles of Impeachment should be tried in the Senate.&nbsp; I do not expect a conviction.&nbsp; But I think that watching Republican Senators cravenly cower and squirm to protect their Fuhrer will disgust voters so much they will flush those Republicans.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">The swing district Democrats, who are dragging their feet now, have two choices.
