{"id":3700,"date":"2010-12-23T11:17:43","date_gmt":"2010-12-23T19:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=3700"},"modified":"2010-12-23T11:17:43","modified_gmt":"2010-12-23T19:17:43","slug":"bernanke-backs-banksters-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2010\/12\/23\/bernanke-backs-banksters-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Bernanke Backs Banksters Again!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">I strongly opposed the appointments of each of the three blind mice, Bernanke, Geithner, and Summers to their posts overseeing our nation\u2019s finances.&#160; With Summers gone, the other two need to follow.&#160; Bernanke has now thrown his support to allowing criminal Banksters to continue to steal people\u2019s homes using illegal foreclosure procedures and other practices so deceptive that they would make a robber baron blush.<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 2px 10px 0px 0px; display: inline; float: left\" title=\"BanksterBB\" alt=\"BanksterBB\" align=\"left\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/BanksterBB.jpg\" width=\"360\" height=\"270\" \/>Top policymakers at the Federal Reserve are fighting efforts to rein in widely reported bank abuses, sparking an inter-agency feud with the FDIC and the Treasury Department<\/strong>. The Fed, along with the more bank-friendly Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, is <strong>resisting moves to craft rules cracking down on banks that charge illegal fees and carry ou et improper foreclosures<\/strong>.
