Today\u2019s winner is Republican Oregon State Senator and Ammosexual, Brian Boquist. He is so honored for his love of polluters and his threat to murder state police officers for enforcing the law.<\/font>  <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"0621boquist\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"0621boquist\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/0621boquist.jpg\" width=\"360\" align=\"left\" height=\"248\">Tensions were already smoldering in the Oregon Senate Wednesday, when Sen. Brian Boquist, R-Dallas, poured gasoline on the situation, suggesting <strong>he would shoot and potentially kill any state trooper sent to haul him unwillingly back to the Capitol<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>After Senate Republican Leader Herman Baertschiger Jr. said Tuesday that his caucus was \u201cprepared to take actions\u201d to prevent passage of a major climate change bill, Gov. Brown announced on Wednesday that she was ready to answer Republican stonewalling by calling lawmakers back for a special session.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Brown hinted that she would be willing to send state troopers to round up Republicans if they walk out in the final days of the regular legislative session<\/strong>, saying in a statement that she is \u201cin close communication with Oregon State Police.\u201d That\u2019s an option Democratic senators and the governor did not use earlier this year, when Senate Republicans first brought the Senate to a standstill by walking out and preventing the necessary quorum.  <\/p>\n<p>The governor\u2019s hint that she would consider sending troopers in the event of a second walkout triggered an aggressive response from Boquist, which was captured by a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PatDooris\/status\/1141464157574684673\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KGW news team<\/a> at the Capitol.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is what I told the superintendent,\u201d Boquist said, referring to OSP Superintendent Travis Hampton. \u201c<strong>Send bachelors and come heavily armed.
