dollar, they work for the taxpayers, not for Republican Reich.\u00a0 Smellyanne Conway, pin-up girl and councilor to the Fuhrer of the Republican Reich, Resident Donald Trump, has violated the Hatch Act so extensively that the Office of Special Counsel has demanded her immediate dismissal.\u00a0 Trump says no.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; display: block; padding-right: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"0614Smellyanne\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/0614Smellyanne.jpg\" alt=\"0614Smellyanne\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>President Trump said Friday that he will not fire White House counselor Kellyanne Conway for repeated violations of the Hatch Act, which bars federal employees from engaging in political activity in the course of their work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell I got briefed on it yesterday, and it looks to me like <strong>they\u2019re trying to take away her right of free speech<\/strong>, and that\u2019s just not fair,\u201d Trump said during an interview on Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>His comments came a day after the Office of Special Counsel publicly recommended Conway\u2019s removal from federal office, calling her a \u201crepeat offender.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A report submitted to Trump found that Conway violated the Hatch Act on numerous occasions by \u201cdisparaging Democratic presidential candidates <strong>while speaking in her official capacity<\/strong> during television interviews and on social media.\u201d&#8230; [<em>emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Inserted from &lt;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/trump-says-he-wont-fire-kellyanne-conway-over-hatch-act-violations\/2019\/06\/14\/76f31a94-8e9f-11e9-adf3-f70f78c156e8_story.html?noredirect=on&amp;utm_term=.678bf9ff8022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Washington Post<\/a>&gt;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">That does not take away her right of free speech, because she could say the same thing in her own driveway, just not on the job.\u00a0 The White House also said that, it does not apply to Twitter, because the Act does not mention Twitter by name.\u00a0 That&#8217;s absurd, because it applies to TV, which also was not around in 1939.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BLOVbadWsTo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lawrence O&#8217;Donnell<\/a> had been documenting Smellyanne&#8217;s Hatch Act violations for some time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/BLOVbadWsTo\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">This is not new.\u00a0 During the GW Bush Administration, the failed Fourth Reich, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/06\/13\/us\/hatch-act.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Karl Rove<\/a> scheduled cabinet members to appear in their official capacity at campaign rallies during the 2006 midterms.\u00a0 Why should Republicans campaign on their donors&#8217;
