Graham was reading Strzok-Page texts, but &#8211; taken out of context &#8211; this is the best loop I&#39;ve seen in ages. \ud83d\ude02\ud83e\udd23\ud83d\ude05<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ffi3yk7rQq\">pic.twitter.com\/ffi3yk7rQq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Shannon Fisher (@MsShannonFisher) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MsShannonFisher\/status\/1123597626618863616?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 1, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Sen. McTurtle<\/em><\/strong> was so thrilled with AG Barr\u2019s lying during the Senate Judiciary Hearing that afterwards, he triumphantly carried him out on his back:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Chicken-Turtle_Barr-McConnell.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-36402\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Chicken-Turtle_Barr-McConnell.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But the next day, Barr really laid an <em>egg<\/em> with his <em>fowl<\/em> behavior when he went AWOL for the scheduled House Judiciary Hearing.\u00a0 But thanks to <strong>Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN)<\/strong>, the day still provided some smiles because he <em>hatched<\/em> a great plan that created the <strong><em>\u201cChicken Barr Meme\u201d<\/em><\/strong> that went viral!<\/p>\n<p>Just so you know I\u2019m not just <em>winging it<\/em>, here\u2019s a quick overview of what happened:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Barr_Empty-Chair_Chicken_2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-36396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Barr_Empty-Chair_Chicken_2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"317\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Leave it to C-Span to memorialize his clever gambit:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Rep. Steve Cohen brought a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken to today&#39;s hearing, apparently to suggest that Barr is afraid to testify.<br \/>Via CSPAN <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/g3XOIedYqR\">pic.twitter.com\/g3XOIedYqR<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kylegriffin1\/status\/1123942762586488832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 2, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re probably a little disappointed Democrats haven\u2019t served any subpoenas for Barr\u2019s no-show \u2026 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>YET!<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 But no doubt some eatery in DC will be serving <strong><em>\u201cChicken Barr Sandwiches\u201d<\/em><\/strong> in short order.<\/p>\n<p>And Rep. Cohen realized he masterminded a trend, and so created an appropriate Photoshopped portrait of Barr:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ChickenBarr?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ChickenBarr<\/a> won\u2019t be appearing before <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HouseJudiciary?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@HouseJudiciary<\/a> tomorrow. The Attorney General shouldn\u2019t be afraid of taking questions from counsel or members. Contemptible behavior.
