Today\u2019s winner is Trump sycophant, self-proclaimed Nazi, and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. He is so honored losing a lawsuit. He was sued for claiming the Republican murder of Heather Heyer was a staged plot by Democrats to make his Fuhrer look bad and targeting the man that posted the video for Nazi violence.&nbsp; This is his third award. Previous awards in <\/font><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/2013\/09\/18\/republicans-on-parade9182013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2013<\/a><font color=\"#0000ff\"><\/font><font color=\"#0000ff\"> and <\/font><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/2016\/12\/08\/republicans-on-parade-1282016\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2016<\/a><font color=\"#0000ff\"><\/font><font color=\"#0000ff\"> were also for Republican conspiracy theories.<\/font>  <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"0402alex-jones-swastika\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; display: block; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; margin-right: auto\" border=\"0\" alt=\"0402alex-jones-swastika\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/0402alex-jones-swastika.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"324\">  <\/p>\n<p>A federal judge ruled Friday that Alex Jones and other online conspiracy peddlers cannot dismiss a defamation <a href=\"https:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/muckraker\/charlottesville-defamation-cases-challenges-taking-fake-news-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suit alleging that they invented damaging smears<\/a> about a counter-protester at the 2017 \u201cUnite the Right\u201d rally.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cVictims of vile conspiracy theories should take comfort in Judge Moon\u2019s ruling that Brennan Gilmore\u2019s defamation suit against InfoWars must proceed,\u201d Andrew Mendrala, an attorney with Georgetown Law\u2019s Civil Rights Clinic, which helped bring the case, said in a statement. \u201cToday\u2019s decision shows that the law will protect victims of baseless lies by holding people like Alex Jones accountable for the harm they cause.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>Gilmore sued Jones, Gateway Pundit\u2019s Jim Hoft and several other far-right publishers for falsely labeling him as a \u201cdeep state\u201d operative. <strong>They claimed that a video he captures and posted online of white supremacist Alex James Fields ramming his car into Heather Heyer was part of an elaborate, staged plot to undermine the Trump administration<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>The defendants requested that the lawsuit be thrown out, claiming they were simply exercising their First Amendment right to share theories and opinions about the incident.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>But in Friday\u2019s ruling, Judge Norman Moon of Virginia\u2019s Western District agreed with Gilmore that they knowingly published these false stories \u201cwith actual malice<\/strong>.\u201d&#8230; [<em>emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Inserted from &lt;<a href=\"https:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/muckraker\/alex-jones-must-face-defamation-suit-charlottesville\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TPM<\/a>&gt;<\/font>  <\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Others were named, but Jones is their Republican ringleader.<\/font>  <\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Kudos to Judge Norman Moon, a fair man, and a Clinton appointee.&nbsp; I fear we man need a Parade for a White Supremacist Republican Judge, if this decision is overruled.<\/font>  <\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yHD6WStfNAk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video from Bloomberg<\/a> explains the influence he had over his beloved Fuhrer Drumphenfarten.<\/font>  <\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><font color=\"#ff0000\">Barf Bag Alert!! <\/font><\/h3>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/yHD6WStfNAk\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/font>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">No other Republican has received three parades&#8230; so far.<\/font>  <\/p>\n<h2 align=\"center\"><font style=\"font-weight: bold\" color=\"#0000ff\">RESIST!!<\/font><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is the one hundred fifty-fifth article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become.
