The nation’s Intel chiefs are tasked with assessing and reporting threats to our national security, so the President and executive branch can align our policies to meet and defeat those threats.  That’s how the system is supposed to work. But what happens, if the so-called President is really only a Resident, who completely ignores their analysis in favor of what he wants to believe?  The DNI’s Worldwide Threat Assessment<\/a> shows Trump is just that Resident, and that bases our national security on BS.<\/font><\/p>\n

Did you know that \u201cRussia\u2019s social media efforts will continue to focus on aggravating social and racial tensions, undermining trust in authorities, and criticizing perceived anti-Russia politicians\u201d as part of a broader effort \u201cto influence US policy, actions, and elections\u201d?<\/p>\n

Or that North Korea \u201cis unlikely to give up all of its WMD stockpiles, delivery systems, and production capabilities,\u201d because \u201cNorth Korean leaders view nuclear arms as critical to regime survival\u201d?<\/p>\n

Or that Iran is abiding by its nuclear deal, even though the United States pulled out, and that it \u201cis not currently undertaking the key nuclear weapons-development activities\u201d?<\/p>\n

Or that the Islamic State \u201cstill commands thousands of fighters in Iraq and Syria\u201d and around the world, and that it \u201cwill exploit any reduction in CT [counterterrorism] pressure to strengthen its clandestine presence and accelerate rebuilding key capabilities\u201d?<\/p>\n

Or that global warming is contributing to intensifying \u201cclimate hazards such as extreme weather, higher temperatures, droughts, floods, wildfires, storms, sea level rise, soil degradation, and acidifying oceans\u201d?<\/p>\n
