Dig in. <strong>RESIST<\/strong>!!<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">From <a href=\"https:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/since-pushing-corporate-tax-cuts-to-boost-jobs-half-of-the-rate-coalition-has-laid-off-employees-bc72f74c325e\/\" target=\"_blank\">Think Progress<\/a>: <\/font>In the lead-up to the enactment of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act, Donald Trump\u2019s massive tax cut that mostly benefited rich people and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/republican-tax-cuts-trump-wage-increases-879800\" target=\"_blank\">big corporations<\/a>, a coalition of powerful business interests formed with one major priority in mind: slashing the corporate tax rate. The Reforming America\u2019s Taxes Equitably (RATE) Coalition comprised dozens of companies and trade groups that all insisted lowering corporate taxes would mean more jobs.<\/p>\n<p>A ThinkProgress review found that about half of RATE Coalition\u2019s members <strong>have made layoffs since the law\u2019s enactment.
