{"id":33795,"date":"2018-09-23T14:15:41","date_gmt":"2018-09-23T21:15:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=33795"},"modified":"2018-09-23T14:15:41","modified_gmt":"2018-09-23T21:15:41","slug":"sunday-smile-september-has-been-a-good-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2018\/09\/23\/sunday-smile-september-has-been-a-good-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Smile: September Has Been a Good Month!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As September is drawing to a close, we can all agree that this has been a terrible month for <strong><em>Twitler<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 which makes it a pretty damn good month for us.<\/p>\n<p>So let\u2019s review some of Twitler\u2019s lowlights and <strong><em><u>our<\/u><\/em><\/strong> highlights.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s start back on Thursday, September 6<sup>th<\/sup> in the unlikely place of Billings, MT at one of Twitler\u2019s tiresome ego-boosting rallies.\u00a0 It was there we learned that not all hero\u2019s wear capes \u2013 some of them wear plaid!<\/p>\n<p>That backdrop gallery Twitler demands to cheer him on, despite being hand-picked by his handlers for their \u201centhusiasm\u201d, contained a <em>\u201cone-of-these-is-not-like-the-others\u201d<\/em> person. \u00a0Our unlikely hero was a 17 year-old senior from Billings West High School, <strong>Tyler Linfesty<\/strong> \u2013 who became better known as <strong>#PlaidShirtGuy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Had to share again just because. ? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PlaidShirtGuy?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#PlaidShirtGuy<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/sbGrzluJbz\">pic.twitter.com\/sbGrzluJbz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; The Hoarse Whisperer (@HoarseWisperer) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HoarseWisperer\/status\/1038240051552047104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 8, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>After a while, Twitler&#8217;s crack-crew realized Linfesty was making an even bigger fool of Twitler than he does by himself \u2013 and so kicked him out.\u00a0 But only after having the Secret Service detain him and run a check on him simply because he was not adoring enough of <em>\u201cDear Leader\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s like they don\u2019t even realize our First Amendment exists \u2013 and just start with the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a sampling of #PlaidShirtGuy&#8217;s great facial expressions, Trumpkin\u2019s nose-picking gal and our hero\u2019s unfortunate forced-exit.\u00a0 But luckily <strong>#PlaidShirtGuy<\/strong> ruled the internets for days!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"695\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/702pXW7qrwI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; Like a toadstool \u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt may have been the least impressive sex I\u2019d ever had, but clearly, he didn\u2019t share that opinion.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2018\/sep\/18\/stormy-daniels-tell-all-book-on-trump-salacious-detail-and-claims-of-cheating\">https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2018\/sep\/18\/stormy-daniels-tell-all-book-on-trump-salacious-detail-and-claims-of-cheating<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I suspect my reaction was very similar to yours \u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Baby_Disbelief_WTF_You-Kidding.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33798\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Baby_Disbelief_WTF_You-Kidding.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And of course, we\u2019re all \u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Waiting for Trump to have a letter from 65 women saying his penis doesn\u2019t look like the mushroom from Mario Kart.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Tony Posnanski (@tonyposnanski) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tonyposnanski\/status\/1042028696104824833?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 18, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And it looks like this Thursday has the potential to become the cherry on top of a great September when <strong>Dr. Christine Blasey Ford<\/strong> appears before the Judiciary Committee with its 11 old, white, male Rethuglicans.<\/p>\n<p>While I\u2019m not holding my breath it&#8217;ll stop him, <strong><em>Kavanaugh<\/em><\/strong>, for his part, has been furiously prepping for his upcoming grilling (and a brand-new opportunity to lie &amp; perjure himself some more).\u00a0 But leaks show it\u2019s not been going well for Brett at all:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>But Kavanaugh grew frustrated when it came to questions that dug into his private life, particularly his drinking habits and his sexual proclivities, according to three people familiar with the preparations, who requested anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.
