Today\u2019s honoree is Faux Noise Emcee, Marshall McPeek, aka McPuke, honored for the level of bigotry against LQBTQ folk that comes from the Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda, <em>Faux Noise<\/em>.<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"0910Marshall-McPeek\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"0910Marshall-McPeek\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/0910Marshall-McPeek.jpg\" width=\"360\" align=\"left\" height=\"194\" \/>The emcee at an LGBT journalists\u2019 organization annual conference Saturday night called attendees \u201c<strong>things and its<\/strong>.\u201d Marshall McPeek, a meteorologist at a Sinclair-owned ABC affiliate station in Ohio later apologized and resigned his membership to The Association of LGBTQ Journalists (NLGJA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLadies and gentlemen, things and its,\u201d were the words McPeek chose to begin the evening\u2019s event in Palm Springs, California, which was hosted by Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>But it was a tweet from Mary Emily O\u2019Hara, who covers LGBTQ news for Cond\u00e9 Nast\u2019s them, that drew attention to McPeek\u2019s offensive remarks.
