In February, 2016 one of the most extreme Fascists on SCROTUS (Republican Constitutional VD), Antonin Scalia, joined his demonic master in the nether regions, where he continues to sizzle.\u00a0 Barrack Obama nominated Merrick Garland, a centrist, and a truly bipartisan, compromise candidate.\u00a0 But the Republican Party insisted on a Nazi.\u00a0 Bought Bitch Mitch coined the McConnell Rule and stated that no Supreme Court confirmation could take place during an election year, because the people deserved a say.\u00a0 Garland was denied a hearing, and in 2017, Trump stole Obama’s appointment and put a goose-stepper on the court, Injustice Neil Whoresuch.\u00a0 Now Anthony Kennedy is retiring, and it’s an election year.<\/span><\/p>\n

For many Democrats, Supreme Court turnabout would be fair play.<\/p>\n

Reaction to Justice Anthony Kennedy\u2019s surprise announcement that he will retire from the Supreme Court on July 31<\/a> was swift for many Democrats, some of whom said the Senate should follow the standard set by Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and deny a vote to President Trump\u2019s next nominee to the high court<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2016, citing the upcoming election, McConnell blocked President Obama\u2019s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland. Now, with Trump and his fellow Republicans poised to cement conservative control of the high court, Democrats hope to turn the tables on the GOP.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Republican colleagues in the Senate should follow the rule they set in 2016<\/strong>,\u201d Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a speech on the Senate floor. \u201cSenator McConnell would tell anyone who listened that the Senate had the right to advise and consent \u2014 and that was every bit as important as the president\u2019s right to nominate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schumer also said the Senate should reject any Supreme Court pick who would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that affirmed a woman\u2019s right to have an abortion… [emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
