{"id":29261,"date":"2017-08-29T12:49:30","date_gmt":"2017-08-29T19:49:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=29261"},"modified":"2017-08-29T12:49:30","modified_gmt":"2017-08-29T19:49:30","slug":"personal-update-8292017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2017\/08\/29\/personal-update-8292017\/","title":{"rendered":"Personal Update &#8211; 8\/29\/2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">I&#8217;m back from my post-op exam, and my eye sees great.&#160; It&#8217;s 20\/25 which is fantastic for the day after surgery.&#160; I&#8217;m very tired, as I had a bad night last night.&#160; I woke up and noticed how clear my vision was through the holes in my patch.&#160; Then it hit me that I shouldn&#8217;t be able to see through the holes, and that the pad had slipped out, so I stuffed it back in.&#160; A little later, I woke up and found the whole patch had fallen off.&#160; Half-asleep I reattached the patch, and lay back down.&#160; Something didn&#8217;t feel quite right.&#160; I had put the patch over my right eye.&#160; After three previous eye surgeries, the patch had always been on that eye.&#160; By then the tape was shot so I had to get up at 2:00 AM to re-tape the patch and put it back on my left eye.&#160; Then I had to get up at 4:30 to be ready to leave at 7:00.&#160; I&#8217;ll be back in the saddle tomorrow.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\"><strong>Jig Zone Puzzle<\/strong>:<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Today&#8217;s took me 4:30 (with patch on)(average 4:31).&#160; To do it, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jigzone.com\/puzzles\/2017-08-29-CE2504A965A9\" target=\"_blank\">click here<\/a>.
