{"id":28681,"date":"2017-07-22T14:00:40","date_gmt":"2017-07-22T21:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=28681"},"modified":"2017-07-22T14:00:40","modified_gmt":"2017-07-22T21:00:40","slug":"who-outed-sessions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2017\/07\/22\/who-outed-sessions\/","title":{"rendered":"Who Outed Sessions?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">For last few days, Jefferson &quot;KKK Beauregard&quot; Sessions has been the low man on the totem pole in the Trump&#8217;s Republican Rectum Reich.&#160; Most AGs would have resigned after being publically shamed, but Beauregard gave up Senate seniority to take that post, and like any Republican, he&#8217;s desperate to cling to power.&#160;&#160;&#160; Now a communication from Kislyak that Sessions had discussed Trump&#8217;s Russia policy with him prior to the election has leaked.&#160; I believe it.&#160; But I find the timing of the leak to be highly suspicious.<\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"0722SessionsTrump\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; display: block; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; margin-right: auto\" border=\"0\" alt=\"0722SessionsTrump\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/0722SessionsTrump.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"393\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Russia\u2019s ambassador to Washington told his superiors in Moscow that he discussed campaign-related matters, including policy issues important to Moscow, with Jeff Sessions during the 2016 presidential race, contrary to public assertions by the embattled attorney general, according to current and former U.S. officials<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Sergey Kislyak\u2019s accounts of two conversations with Sessions \u2014 then a top foreign policy adviser to Republican candidate Donald Trump \u2014 were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies, which monitor the communications of senior Russian officials both in the United States and in Russia. Sessions initially failed to disclose his contacts with Kislyak and then said that the meetings were not about the Trump campaign.<\/p>\n<p>One U.S. official said that Sessions \u2014 who testified that he has no recollection of an April encounter \u2014 has provided \u201cmisleading\u201d statements that are \u201ccontradicted by other evidence.\u201d A former official said that the intelligence indicates that <strong>Sessions and Kislyak had \u201csubstantive\u201d discussions on matters including Trump\u2019s positions on Russia-related issues and prospects for U.S.-Russia relations in a Trump administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions has said repeatedly that he never discussed campaign-related issues with Russian officials and that it was only in his capacity as a U.S. senator that he met with Kislyak&#8230; [<em>emphasis added<\/em>]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">From &lt;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/national-security\/sessions-discussed-trump-campaign-related-matters-with-russian-ambassador-us-intelligence-intercepts-show\/2017\/07\/21\/3e704692-6e44-11e7-9c15-177740635e83_story.html\" target=\"_blank\">Washington Post<\/a>&gt;<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/rachel-maddow-show\" target=\"_blank\">Rachel Maddow<\/a> covered the story after updating us on recent developments into the investigation into Republican crimes.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/player.theplatform.com\/p\/7wvmTC\/MSNBCEmbeddedOffSite?guid=n_maddow_asessions_170721\" width=\"635\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">It could be conscientious intelligence pros.&#160; However, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/the-last-word\" target=\"_blank\">Ari Melbur<\/a> suggested that the Trump Reich might be behind the leak to give Trump an excuse to fire KKK Beauregard and replace him with an AG that can fire Mueller.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/player.theplatform.com\/p\/7wvmTC\/MSNBCEmbeddedOffSite?guid=n_lw_asessions_170721\" width=\"635\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Personally, I doubt that.&#160; While it could give Trump that excuse, it also is hard evidence of <em>quid pro quo<\/em>, strongly indicating a criminal conspiracy.&#160; I think the Fuhrer might prefer to avoid that.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">Nobody wants the Mueller investigation to end more than Putin.&#160; He&#8217;s invested a lot of <em>quid<\/em> into installing Trump as puppet Resident.&#160; Because the investigation has tied Trump&#8217;s hands Putin has received very little <em>quo<\/em> in return.&#160; He will receive no more as long as the investigation continues.&#160; Therefore Russia may have outed Sessions to give Trump an excuse to force him and to turn up the heat on Trump to fire Mueller and end the Russia investigation.&#160; That way Trump and Putin can go to work on running America for Russia&#8217;s benefit.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">I may or may not be correct in this speculation.&#160; I don&#8217;t claim to be.&#160;
