His supporters count the end of deportation protections as a key component of his promise to strengthen immigration enforcement. In campaign speeches, Trump repeatedly promised to end the program on &ldquo;day one&rdquo; of his presidency and called the protections &ldquo;unconstitutional executive amnesty.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms,cursive;\">On the other side&#8230;. have examined at least two options that would not directly involve Trump, according to two immigration policy advisors to the White House: a lawsuit brought by states, and new legal guidance that details who is a priority for deportation.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><a href=\"mailto:$!@#%\">$!@#%<\/a>&amp;*)(+.&nbsp; (That&#39;s my personal opinion.&nbsp; Condensed.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">The &quot;legal guidance&quot; mentioned above would be from none other than Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III.&nbsp; It would be what you would expect.&nbsp; As for the states, yes, there are plenty which would gleefully join in a lawsuit suchas is proposed.&nbsp; However there are also some which would willingly file as <em>amici curiae<\/em> on the right side.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/act.faithfulamerica.org\/sign\/ice_alexandria\/?t=1&amp;akid=996.240419.KybnMI\" target=\"_blank\">Faithful America <\/a>does have a petition which is pertinent.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">If you read TomCat&#39;s open thread yessterday, and watched\/listened to Keith, you know some of the crap ICE is already doing (and there is more in last week&#39;s Erinyes.)&nbsp; &quot;handling&quot; &#8211; of classified information, ya think?&nbsp; Two tidbits have managed to achieve a little notice, not from prior Russian influence, but simply happening now.&nbsp; The first is that he has intelligence so worried what he might do with information that they are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/2017\/02\/us-spies-withholding-intel-from-white-house-because-they-know-russia-is-listening-report\/\" target=\"_blank\">simply not giving it to him.<\/a>&nbsp; I don&#39;t mean the truncated briefings that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/politics\/2017\/02\/classified-memo-tells-intelligence-analysts-keep-trumps-daily-brief-short\" target=\"_blank\">Mother Jones <\/a>has brought up &#8211; I mean they are deliberately withholding things.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">And his sheer carelessness with classified information is now way beyond the wunsecured-obsolete-smartphone stage.&nbsp; Last week he left a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/stories\/2017\/2\/12\/1632849\/-Trump-left-a-key-to-classified-information-in-plain-view-in-Oval-Office\" target=\"_blank\">key to classified information <\/a>in plain sight on his desk while meeting with the CEO of Intel.&nbsp; AND REPORTERS.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">Then there was the debacle at Mar-a-Lago where he was transacting classified business, in person and on the phone, clearly audible &#8211; with whatever member of the club just happened to feel like coming over.&nbsp; One of them thought it would be fun to have his picture taken with the<\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-26387\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/nuclear-football-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/nuclear-football-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/nuclear-football-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/nuclear-football.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"> nuclear football &#8211; so he did &#8211; and <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/319211-mar-a-lago-guest-posts-pics-with-nuclear-football-carrier\" target=\"_blank\">posted it on Facebook<\/a>!&nbsp; (It was nice of the UK Independent to scramble the face &#8211;
