Future Resident Rectum, Fuhrer of the Republican Reich, the Reich on the right that is always wrong is already exhibiting the behavior of past fascist and National Socialist tyrants.  Robert Reich, the Reich on the left that is always right, has listed fifteen warning signs we are seeing.<\/font><\/p>\n

As tyrants take control of democracies, they typically:<\/p>\n

1.  Exaggerate their mandate to govern \u2013 claiming, for example, that they won an election by a landslide<\/a> even after losing the popular vote.<\/p>\n

2.  Repeatedly claim massive voter<\/a> fraud in the absence of any evidence, in order to restrict voting in subsequent elections.<\/p>\n

3.  Call anyone who opposes them \u201cenemies<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

4.  Turn the public against journalists or media outlets that criticize them, calling them \u201cdeceitful<\/a>\u201d and \u201cscum<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n

5.  Hold few if any press conferences<\/a>, preferring to communicate with the public directly through mass rallies and unfiltered statements<\/a>. <\/p>\n

6.  Tell the public big lies<\/a>, causing them to doubt the truth and to believe fictions that support the tyrants\u2019 goals.<\/p>\n

7.  Blame economic stresses on immigrants<\/a> or racial or religious minorities, and foment public bias and even violence<\/a> against them.<\/p>\n

8.  Attribute acts of domestic violence to \u201cenemies within,\u201d and use such events as excuses to beef up internal security and limit civil liberties<\/a>…<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
