Because of their willingness to always stand on the side of corporations, Republicans are being rewarded by big business. The Financial Times <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/cms\/s\/0\/8ec9172c-a4cf-11df-8d8c-00144feabdc0.html\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a> on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/news\/2010\/08\/financial-industry-related-politica.html\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Responsive Politics (CRP) study<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.375in; font-family: calibri; font-size: 11pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Wall Street executives are donating nearly 70 per cent of their political contributions to Republican candidates ahead of November\u2019s mid-term elections<\/span>, representing a significant shift in allegiances across an industry that has in recent history heavily favoured Democrats.
