Almost every week, Republicans join a competition to see who can say the most outlandish things, and in the process, they push the envelope on just how absurd InsaniTEA can become.  I trust that you will believe it, when I tell you that last week was no exception.<\/font> <\/p>\n

Katrina Pierson just can\u2019t stop revising history.<\/h6>\n

\"0814KatrinaPierson\"It\u2019s very hard for Katrina Pierson to keep track of who started which war. C\u2019mon guys, that\u2019s hard. Especially when these wars go on and on forever. Also history, schmistory. It\u2019s all Obama\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n

After being severely dressed down recently for saying that Captain Khan was killed in Iraq under Obama\u2019s watch in 2004\u2014when Bush was president and Obama a senator who had opposed the war\u2014Pierson decided to put her knowledge of recent wars on display again Saturday.<\/p>\n

This time, she accused Obama of owning the war in Afghanistan, which is odd, because he was a state senator when that war was launched in 2001.<\/p>\n

\u201cRemember we weren\u2019t even in Afghanistan by this time,\u201d Katrina Pierson told a puzzled CNN host. \u201cBarack Obama went into Afghanistan creating another problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked to clarify whether she meant he launched that war, she said, \u201cThat was Obama\u2019s war.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, no, though he did announce a surge there in 2009 when he actually became president.<\/p>\n
