\"15boner\"<\/a> It’s only July, and John Boehner is already taking a <\/span>victory lap<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), in a statement to POLITICO, called on Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) to \u201cguarantee \u2014 right now \u2014 that they will not bring members back for a \u2018sour grapes\u2019 session after the election.\u201d<\/p>\n

Never mind that Democrats don\u2019t even know what their November schedule might be four months out, Boehner is laying down his marker.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe American people shouldn\u2019t have to face the prospect of lame-duck Washington Democrats imposing tax increases or any other job-killing policies on their way out the door,\u201d Boehner said. \u201cPeople have a right to know that Congress will respect their will, whatever it is.\u201d <\/p>\n

First of all, maybe John Boehner should wait to see what the election results show before he starts acting like he’s just been elected Speaker\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
