Yesterday my CAT-Scan was uneventful.  I\u2019m confident that it will show that my COPD is no worse, since I quit smoking last year.,  After all these month\u2019s, however, I still get cravings that are both frequent and intense.  Then Lu came to use my phone and computer to deal with some of her issues.  I\u2019m expecting her and her daughter today at Noon, both for my shower and to take my window A\/C away.  I gave it to Lu, and she\u2019s giving it to her daughter.  Tomorrow is a grocery delivery day.<\/font><\/p>\n

From The New Yorker<\/a>: <\/font>Attempting to repair some of the fallout from his recent remarks about women, Donald Trump said on Sunday that the decision of whether women should be considered humans should be left to the states.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t want to tell Texas whether women are humans, for example,\u201d he said on CBS\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation.\u201d \u201cThey obviously have some very strong opinions about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked point-blank whether he considered women humans, the billionaire responded, \u201cIt should be a case-by-case thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

From Daily Kos<\/a>: <\/font>If there’s anyone left in America that thinks Maine Governor Paul LePage is still fit to hold elected office, maintaining that position on a day-to-day basis must be quite the slog. Having won a special election on Tuesday, Susan Deschambault is the newest elected Democratic state senator in his state\u2014or she would be, but Gov. Paul LePage has apparently locked himself in a closet and refuses to come out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Deschambault was scheduled to be sworn in this morning before 9am, and has her family with her at the State House to witness the ceremony, but LePage\u2019s spokesperson now says that won\u2019t be happening because he\u2019s mad about an unrelated vote in the Labor Committee against his nominee for labor representative to the Unemployment Insurance Commission.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Only one word is sufficiently vile to describe a person that governs in such a manner. LePage is a\u2026 Republican.<\/font><\/p>\n
