This cycle, that means if your&nbsp;18th birthday is on or before Nov. 8, 2016, you can participate in the Iowa caucus.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul abp=\"1375\">\n<li abp=\"1376\">Be a registered Democrat. Technically the caucuses are &quot;closed,&quot; meaning only party-members may participate, but <a abp=\"1377\" href=\"http:\/\/iowademocrats.org\/about-iowa-caucuses\/\" target=\"_blank\">according to the Iowa Democratic Party<\/a>, it&#39;s possible to register as a Democrat on caucus night itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul abp=\"1378\">\n<li abp=\"1379\">Be a resident in the precinct you plan to caucus in.
