{"id":16335,"date":"2015-10-02T09:26:11","date_gmt":"2015-10-02T16:26:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/?p=16335"},"modified":"2015-10-02T09:26:11","modified_gmt":"2015-10-02T16:26:11","slug":"tomcat-update-6-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/2015\/10\/02\/tomcat-update-6-5\/","title":{"rendered":"TomCat Update #6.5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I call this Update #6.5 because it is in some ways an update, but in another way it is momentous news deserving of it&#039;s own post!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#00FF00\"><span style=\"font-size:48px\">I spoke with TC!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Cinco-de-Mayo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cinco-de-Mayo.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-15187\" height=\"231\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Cinco-de-Mayo-300x231.jpg\" width=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Cinco-de-Mayo-300x231.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.politicsplus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Cinco-de-Mayo.jpg 650w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">OK, so it&#039;s not Cinco de Mayo today!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">But my feelings, well it is a day to celebrate!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">And this is the only picture that has TC all dressed up to party!<\/p>\n<p>I called the hospital yesterday afternoon to speak with Tom but he was sleeping. &nbsp;Incase you don&#039;t know, <span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><strong>cats sleep a lot!<\/strong><\/span>&nbsp; So I spoke briefly with Lynn, Tom&#039;s nurse. She suggested I call&nbsp;back which&nbsp;I did about 2 hours later. She was able to hold the phone for him to listen but he is still unable to talk . . . just yet.<\/p>\n<p>I told him four&nbsp;things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:16px\">we all <strong><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000\">LOVE<\/span><\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;him and miss&nbsp;him bunches and bunches! <\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:16px\">we are keeping up the blog and it was doing well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:16px\">then, knowing the nature of tom cats, I told him to <span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><strong><span style=\"color:#00FF00\">quit chasing the nurses down the halls<\/span><\/strong><\/span>!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:16px\">there were a ton of people praying and thinking of him, wishing him a speedy recovery, and that I had cards from all sorts of people for him when he is able.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have to admit that I repeated #1 several times. &nbsp;Funny thing though, I heard a noise which sounded like a &quot;kiss&quot; so that tells me he heard me and was cheered.
