I also actually do try to find common ground to talk to Republicans. The problem, with that is that any time I demonstrate that reality differs from what they have been seeing on <em>Faux Noise<\/em>, they react with personal insults and threats. Given that Republicans think this is real, is it any wonder that act as they do?<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/01\/04\/us\/politics\/mike-huckabee-leaves-fox-news-show-to-consider-presidential-run.html\" target=\"_blank\">NY Times<\/a>:<\/font> Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, announced Saturday night that he was ending his cable talk show and would make a decision about a presidential bid this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Huckabee, a Republican, used his weekly Fox News program, \u201cHuckabee,\u201d to reveal that he was leaving the network as he considers a second campaign for the White House.<\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">I see this as a very positive development, because Upchuck Huck can help force Republican extremists, that pretend to be moderate, such as Strike Three and PIGnocchio, to reveal their true agenda to get the nomination and make themselves unacceptable to voters in the process.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\"><strong>Cartoon<\/strong>:<\/font><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"0105Cartoon\" style=\"display: inline\" alt=\"0105Cartoon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.7thstep.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/0105Cartoon.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m writing for tomorrow, day 61.&#160; It\u2019s a slow news day, and the Dulcolax has not cured my Republicitis yet, so this is tomorrow\u2019s only article.
