Even Republican pollster Frank Luntz acknowledged this reality and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/erik-wemple\/wp\/2014\/06\/11\/cbs-news-says-republican-strategist-suffices-for-frank-luntz-disclosure\/\" target=\"_blank\">shredded his own party<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&quot;Right now there are 230 House Republicans who are waking up praying that they do not have Eric Cantor&#8217;s pollster. Honestly, and I&#8217;m one of them, <strong>we Republican pollsters suck<\/strong>. We have no ability to be able to analyze the electorate.&quot;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, Monica Wehby may think it&#8217;s unfair\u2014after all, she&#8217;s using Tarrance, not McLaughlin\u2014but she doesn&#8217;t seem to have realized the credibility problem she&#8217;s facing in <a href=\"http:\/\/media.oregonlive.com\/mapes\/other\/Wehbypollmemo.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">publishing a poll<\/a> that shows her trailing Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley by just a 41-39 margin. Just a few weeks ago, after all, the much more reliable PPP found <a href=\"http:\/\/elections.huffingtonpost.com\/pollster\/2014-oregon-senate-wehby-vs-merkley\" target=\"_blank\">Merkley up 50-36<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>But Wehby&#8217;s timing could not have been worse, because <a href=\"http:\/\/www.surveyusa.com\/client\/PollReport.aspx?g=005a915d-93f5-4dc8-b982-324b58e9eaa7\" target=\"_blank\">a brand-new independent poll<\/a> from SurveyUSA for KATU-TV in Portland dropped just hours later. What did SUSA find?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Merkley: 50      <br \/>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; Wehby: 32<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Next time, listen to Frank Luntz\u2026 [<em>emphasis original<\/em>]<\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">It won&#8217;t matter. As a rule stalkers, like Wehby, ignore the facts in favor of belief in a super-optimistic outcome for their dysfunctional behavior. Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) echoed Speaker Boehner\u2019s sentiments as he touted his signature legislation, \u201cto put Americans under the age of twelve back to work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of spending all day playing with Xboxes, our kids should be in factories assembling them,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>As for what is perhaps the most controversial G.O.P. proposal, guaranteeing gun rights for pets, Boehner said, \u201cIt\u2019s clear that the authors of the Second Amendment meant it to apply to all mammals. All our new law says is, if you have four legs and a tail, you get a gun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">LOL Andy!! I can&#8217;t speak for <em>dawgs<\/em>, but for Republicans to arm cats would be a big mistake! Dirty litter?
