Senate, yes. House, no way. The baggers are running out of groups they can legally discriminate against, so they won’t even allow a vote on this.<\/font><\/p>\n

I forgot to vote earlier. Now I know the results in the Senate were 61 for – 39 against. It almost seems unfair to vote, but I am positive that the House will never allow it. Equal rights for the LGBT community? Never in their black little pseudo-Christian hearts!hearts. <\/font><\/p>\n

Based on what I have seen coming out of the Washington Weenie controlled House, there is no way that the rabid base will go for ending employment discrimination against the LGBT community, nor women for that matter, even that might be perceived as less noticeable. I think their hate is stronger than their common sense.<\/font><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I voted with the majority.  The only real question was whether or not Senate Republicans would goose-step together on their filibuster.  I figured they would not, because many of those who voted for it could use it to deny their policy of hatred toward LGBT people, knowing that it would never get a vote in the House.<\/font><\/p>\n
